For 30 years, FirstLook has walked alongside women, men, and families, offering compassionate, Christ-centered care to those facing unplanned pregnancies and life-altering decisions. Every life has a story to tell, and we are honored that God has used your support to help write so many of them. Together, we’ve seen fear give way to courage, uncertainty turn to hope, and new life embraced with joy.

This year, we’re asking you to help raise $225,000 through the Embracing Life Event, our largest fundraiser of the year. Your generosity empowers FirstLook to continue sharing the truth in love, providing medical care, emotional support, and spiritual guidance to those who need it most. Dr. Justin Jackson

Pastor of Theological Development, Stonegate Church
FirstLook Board Member

Justin grew up in a small town in southeastern Oklahoma and felt called to ministry as a teenager. While studying sociology at the University of Central Oklahoma, he met his wife, Rachel, and began ministering to Chinese students—learning Mandarin along the way. In 2011, just months after their wedding, they moved to Asia as church-planting missionaries for two and a half years. Since returning, Justin has served as a Pastoral Resident, Lead Pastor, and seminary professor. He holds an M.Div., D.Min., and Ph.D., and currently serves on staff at Stonegate Church and on FirstLook’s board. He and Rachel have four amazing kids. As a family, they enjoy exploring the outdoors, reading good fiction, and playing baseball. Justin also enjoys writing, hiking, photographing wildlife, mountain biking, and sipping coffee.

Ryan Vanderburg

Music Producer & Film Director, RIVE Media Group

Ryan is the founder of RIVE Media Group. With over two decades of experience in storytelling and video production, he believes the key to impactful stories is keeping them simple, ensuring each one is memorable and compelling. An aspiring, thorough thinker and gifted musician, Ryan combines creativity with practicality, ensuring every project, however complex or simple, results in a compelling deliverable to those he partners with. Outside of work, he is a husband and father to four exceptional kids, who keep him grounded and inspire him to focus on what is truly meaningful in life: relationships.

Brandon Hixson

Worship Pastor, Tabernacle Baptist Church

Brandon is an award-winning singer and songwriter specializing in Contemporary Christian music. Known for heartfelt lyrics and uplifting melodies, he has earned multiple #1 singles, with several spending two weeks at the top of the WRGG Radio Chart and the Christian Radio Music Charts in 2023. Since launching his YouTube channel in 2012, his videos have reached more than 60 million views worldwide. Brandon currently serves as Worship Pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ennis, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Karen, and their two children, Caleb and Caylin. He began his music career in 2000 after graduating from East Texas Baptist University with a degree in All-Level Music Education and later earned a master’s in Worship Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. His work has been recognized with multiple honors, including two Akademia Awards, a Josie Award, and an Independent Music Award.
