FirstLook is seeking a Finance Director who is committed to stewarding our resources with integrity and excellence to maximize our impact in the community.
The Finance Director oversees all financial operations for FirstLook, including core accounting functions such as general ledger, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable. This role is responsible for producing timely and accurate financial statements and ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
The Finance Director works closely with the CEO to develop the annual budget and partners with department managers to monitor and manage budget performance throughout the year.
In coordination with the Development Director, the Finance Director supports financial processing and reporting within the donor database. This role also tracks and manages restricted funds, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timely, accurate reporting.
The ideal candidate has strong financial management experience, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial reporting and fund accounting. Experience with grant management and donor management systems is preferred.
