After nearly 12 years in operation, FirstLook Boutique of Ennis closed its doors on December 31, 2020. The boutique, which served to provide financial support for the mission of FirstLook Center, first opened in 2009 offering a variety of gently used items including clothing, accessories, decor, kitchenware, and household goods.
FirstLook CEO, Donna Young said, “Unfortunately, a collection of challenging circumstances has made it increasingly more difficult for our Ennis Boutique to support the mission of FirstLook. While we are obviously disappointed to have to make the decision to close the boutique, we remain committed to the Ennis community and our clients.”
“We look forward to the expansion of FirstLook Boutique this summer when the store will relocate to occupy the previous clinic location at Suite E. This will allow the Boutique to double its floor space.”
FirstLook Board Member, Vernon Witherspoon added, “A significant part of our heart and love at FirstLook has been the Ennis community. The Ennis community and east Ellis County continues to be a major part of where FirstLook serves and is involved as we look for even more and better ways to be active in this community.”
